The absolute best feature that Match.com has is their "keyword search". They allow you to search other members interests by keywords. If you’re looking for someone that loves to ski you simply type ski and Bam! You have a list of snow loving members. Amazingly, Match.com is the only major online dating site that currently uses this feature. This should be an industry standard in our opinion.

Things that we H8 :
Match.com makes a large portion of their revenue from advertisements on their site. They can be annoying but after a while you don’t even notice them. I know it sounds like we’re being a little too picky but this was their only glaring flaw that we could come up with.

Match.com’s search results page is very well done. The search results are returned in groups of ten. From the results screen you have the option to chat (Member must be online), send an email, add a member to your "favorites" list, or send the member a "wink".

Match.com’s Email feature is second to none. When sending an Email there is a pop-up that has the members image and a quick reference bio sheet. This allows you to create a very attentive response that will help in getting their attention. They also give you tips during this process to help you break the ice. It’s almost like having an earpiece with an expert on the other end lol.

At first this can be dissapointing but if you’re truly looking for your Perfect Match you will learn to appreciate this. The questionair is lengthy but it is imperative that you answer all questions honestly. It is a complete waste of time to try and market yourself by answering the questions with anwers you think others will want to see. Be Honest! It’s for your benefit.

Once you complete the online dating questionnaire, the PerfectMatch.com matching system will begin working it’s magic. Patience is key as you may not receive matches for a couple of days, however we have seen matches return in less than an hour in some cases. In a recent article in Cosmopolitan magazine, the largest magazine that targets the female demographic stated that over 55% of women in the U.S. have tried some form of online dating.

If over 55% of U.S. women have tried Online Dating you can only imagine how many are out there looking right now.

So where are they and why haven’t you met them yet? Finding women on Match.com, eHarmony.com, Chemistry.com, Singlesnet.com or adultfriendfinder.com, is not the difficult part at all. Figuring out how to intrigue their interest and get a response from them is the hard part. This thought process begins the second she sees your profile. What do people look at first? Your picture! I can’t tell you how important it is to take your time when selecting a picture to use for your online dating profile. Cory can be reckless in this department due to the sex appeal that oozes out of all of his images. However, most people are not like me. Make sure to envision what it is that your picture says about you. The old saying "A picture says a thousand words" is an understatement. It WILL mean the difference of getting a date or staying home alone on a Friday night. Follow my image guidelines below:

• Step 1: Always smile in your photos. You may think you’re serious look is sexy but she thinks it’s creepy.
• Step 2: Make sure to take a picture with the right background. Don’t take the creepy "Man in the mirror photo" and then try to pass it off as if your Ex took it lol. Go someplace exciting, a place she would love to go! This makes you come across as a person who likes to go places and do things, you like adventure, you’re classy and you’re intriguing.
• Step 3: Keep it fresh, Cory doesn’t leave the same image up for more than a month. On the other hand don’t change it every day or you will risk looking like the guy that never leaves his computer.

 

The purpose of saying a thousand words with your images is to avoid the junior high back and forth chit chat that most men mistakenly waste time doing. This gets very boring very fast. Your image can answer a lot of questions without making her ask them. This will show that you’re interested in learning more about her. You’re sparking her interest with your photos while at the same time creating an element of mystery.

 

The next bit of advice is very important. Do not brag or boast! Your pictures already did that. Now is your chance to come across as the man with the perfect life while at the same time being humble.
